Paying College Athletes Research Paper Topics
Paying College Athletes Research Paper TopicsHave you ever wondered what pay-to-play college sports research papers are like? If you haven't already, you might want to find out before you choose a major in college.Well, for one thing, when you do pay to play, you are not getting rich. The universities make up the difference, if there is one, between what you get paid and what you have to pay.In addition, these colleges have a bunch of rules and regulations about how the college athletes are going to be treated and who is actually accountable. Then there is a whole list of problems regarding the uniforms and equipment that college athletes are required to wear that, without exception, require the money that the college athletes are going to get. Now, if you really want to know what pay-to-play college athletes are like, all you have to do is check out the news on some of the NCAA college teams and find out who is really running the show. Chances are it is going to be the coaches and th e athletic directors. But even if they say that they would prefer to keep it that way, they are in a bind, because it is the NCAA (and the athletic department) that are probably giving them the money to be in football, basketball, baseball and whatever other sport. It is hard to say who is in control, but if you think you can ever tell, you are mistaken. The NCAA is doing all it can to save its face.Of course, if you are an athletic department and you have to pay for any of these sports, you know that you cannot get top dollar. So, there is an atmosphere of bribery and corruption. Then there is the issue of honesty, ethics and sportsmanship. And, of course, if you pay to play, then you know that the best player on your team is going to get the most touches and the most yards. That is how pay-to-play college athletes are treated. You would think that some schools would just move forward and not let pay-to-play college athletes ruin their reputation. They will not, and by the time they r ealize that, it may be too late.
